John 16:33 NKJV
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
To overcome means to have authority and power. Jesus said he has overcome the world. Every issue, addiction, stronghold, all weariness and depression does not have the victory over you. As a child of God, you have authority over these things. Do not succumb to these spirits. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, "Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you." Walk with this power today!
Prayer:
God, you reign and have all power and authority. Nothing is hard for you. You speak and it is so. You are Lord over my life and I worship you. I don't worship manmade remedies and steps, I know it's You. You are the answer in every situation. If I expect to see a transformation, I need You. So I walk with authority in Jesus name. I will declare scriptures in the presence of my enemies. Just as satan fled from Jesus in the wilderness when he spoke scriptures, satan will flee from me. Let the words of my mouth, and the mediation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. In Jesus' name, amen.
