There is no right way to pray. There's no sound, lingo or language.
When you speak from your heart-- whether for a long time or a handful of words, God hears you.
If your prayer is genuine, the Holy Spirit will be there. There will be occassions when the Holy Spirit will stir you up and you'll start flowing into the presence of God, revealing all things that need to be taken to God in prayer.
Romans 8:26-27 NIV
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
Matthew 6:7-8 NIV
And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
