When you think of prayer do you picture a weak person pleading for help? Of course there are emergency situations when we need God to step in, but this should not be our lifestyle of prayer. We should be the complete opposite.
Hebrews 4:16 says
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Just think about it, when you obtain something you must secure it-- grab hold firmly. And when you find something, you must be alert, attentive and intentional. So let's come to God boldly. Knowing who we are. Ephesians 1:13 tells us that God has identified us as His own. So we are in no way cast out, alone or forsaken. We are rightfully claiming the power that is ours to bring down deliverance, healing, and breakthrough.
God already has a great plan for our lives (Ephesians 2:10). Let's boldly claim it, walk in it and live out the calling God has on our lives!
Let's finish the week strong and be active warriors of faith in the Kingdom of God!
