After praying and studying my Bible, this is what I see for us this year! More prayer through the Holy Spirit resulting more power!
We will have boldness in the face of adversity. And be confident in what the Holy Spirit has given you—power, love and a sound mind!
In 2 Timothy 1:7, Paul was encouraging Timothy in his timidity. He was facing opposition and persecution from people who thought he wasn’t fit to use the gifts God had given him. Maybe this sounds like you 🙋🏾♂️🙋🏽♀️
The Holy Spirit gives you power to be bold and unashamed of the Gospel. (Romans 1:16). This power shuts down fear of what may happen or what people think/say.
The Holy Spirit gives you love for those you are serving and benefiting from your spiritual gifts. Love is one of the fruits produced by the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). When you live a life powered by the Holy Spirit, these characteristics will be seen in you.
A sound mind/ self discipline comes from from choosing Jesus daily and nailing your own passions and desires of your sinful nature to the cross and crucifying it there (Galatians 5:24-25, James 1:8, James 4:8).
I want you all to have power over everything and everyone opposing you this year. Whether it’s your boss, doctor report or financial statements—your prayer through the Holy Spirit will give you power to be victorious. Don’t fight it any other way. This is not a flesh and blood fight. This is spiritual warfare. And you will win! God will take you to a higher position. He will heal your body. He will increase your resources. He will restore what you lost. He will make your broken relationships whole. He will give you new mercies and more grace. Pray more in 2022!
