When you're filled with Jesus, you're not looking for others to fill you up with compliments, attention or acceptance. Start your day with prayer. Be filled with the Holy Spirit so you're not looking to receive, but give. Give love, give joy, give kindness regardless of what's going on around you. That's the kind of peace you can only find in Jesus.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your peace that exceeds anything I can understand. Your peace guards my heart and mind as I live in Christ Jesus. I am not a victim and I do not carry offense. I see it as an opportunity to be the salt of the earth. I will be the light of the world in every place that I enter today. Lord, let my good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise you, Heavenly Father. Let my life minister to someone today. Give me the will to find strength in you. My identity is and confidence is in you, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
